Author Guidelines

Thank you for considering submitting your work to Summer School 2025. Before preparing your manuscript, please carefully read and adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Manuscript Preparation:

    • All submissions must be original and not under consideration by any other publication.
    • Manuscripts should be prepared in English and formatted according to the APA (American Psychological Association) style guidelines (7th edition).
    • The text should be double-spaced, using Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1-inch margins.
    • Authors are encouraged to structure their manuscripts into sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion for clarity.
  2. Submission Process:

    • Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal's online submission system.
    • Please include a cover letter specifying the novelty and significance of your work, as well as a statement confirming that the work has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  3. Figures and Tables:

    • Figures and tables should be of high quality and submitted in separate files in the appropriate format (e.g., JPEG for images, Excel for tables).
    • Each figure and table should be accompanied by a descriptive caption and numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text.
  4. References:

    • Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their references.
    • References should be listed at the end of the manuscript in alphabetical order according to the last name of the first author.
    • Citations within the text should follow the APA style (author-date format), e.g., (Smith, 2010) or (Jones & Brown, 2015).
  5. Ethical Considerations:

    • Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research and publication, including proper attribution of sources, avoidance of plagiarism, and disclosure of any conflicts of interest.

Review Process:

Upon submission, all manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, validity, and relevance of the research presented. Here's a detailed breakdown of the review process:

  1. Initial Assessment: Submissions are first evaluated by the editorial team to determine their suitability and alignment with the journal's scope and guidelines. Manuscripts that meet the basic criteria for consideration are assigned to an Associate Editor who oversees the review process.

  2. Peer Review Assignment: Suitable manuscripts are then sent to independent experts in the field for anonymous peer review. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, scholarly credentials, and absence of conflicts of interest with the authors. Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, methodological rigor, significance of findings, clarity of presentation, and adherence to ethical standards.

  3. Peer Review Evaluation: Reviewers critically evaluate the manuscript and provide detailed feedback to the authors. They may suggest revisions, clarifications, or additional analyses to strengthen the manuscript or address any methodological or interpretative issues. Reviewers also assess the novelty and contribution of the research to the existing literature, as well as its potential implications for theory, practice, or policy.

  4. Author Response and Revision: Authors receive the reviewers' comments and are given an opportunity to respond to each comment, addressing any concerns or questions raised. Based on the feedback received, authors revise their manuscript accordingly, making necessary modifications to improve its quality and address any deficiencies identified during the review process.

  5. Final Decision: Following the revision, the Associate Editor evaluates the revised manuscript along with the authors' responses and decides on its acceptability for publication. The decision may be acceptance, acceptance with minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection. Authors are informed of the decision along with any further instructions or feedback from the editorial team.

  6. Publication: Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting and formatting to ensure consistency with the journal's style guidelines. Once finalized, manuscripts are published online in the journal's upcoming issues, making them accessible to the scientific community and wider audience.

This transparent and collaborative review process aims to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence, ensure the integrity and credibility of published research, and foster constructive engagement between authors, reviewers, and the editorial team.
